Dave Reichert Receives a "F" for Consistently Voting against Middle Class
Republican Dave Reichert, incumbent Congressman from Washington's 8th congressional district, has received an "F" from the Drum Major Institute Legislative Scorecard for 2005, for consistently voting against the Middle Class. As Republican Reichert continues to wage class warfare against the middle class, more eastside voters are joining the camp of Democratic candidate Darcy Burner, an advocate for middle class.
Unsure about what "voting against the middle class" is? Here's an example that you may find close to home. Take a look at the back of your next credit card statement. Notice the clause that allows your interest rate to be raised to around 30% if you pay late. Note that there's no follow on sentence that outlines conditions wherein your interest rate will be lowered back down. This is legalized loan sharking, a GOP payback to the credit card industry for helping keep them in power. And who voted to pass this new legalized Loan Sharking? That would be Dave Reichert. So if you paid your credit card bill late, and are now being charged an exorbitant interest rate as a result, just remember it as "Dave Reichert's Credit Card Tax".

Even Hastings does better than Reichert and McMorris. Moderate? Not a chance!

and it's not like Dave Reichert is alone. in this middle class scorecard, the drum major institute couldn't even find a single bill that the house voted on in 2005 that would have been supportive of the middle class. the party in power needs to change its prioirities so average americans can simply make a living wage, let alone live a life without the constant fear of gettig sick and not having coverage or amassing extreme debt in order to go to college.

btw if you google search for any congressmember, their grade pops up in the sidebar.
