Army Coverup of Murder of PFC LaVena Johnson?

Facts have a nasty habit of not going away, and latest facts on the death of PFC LaVena Johnson seem to backup an assault and murder, rather than a suicide as reported by the US Army.  LaVena died while on active duty in Balad, IRAQ on July 19th, 2005. 

It is unclear to me why the US Army would damage its integrity by making what appears to be a false claim in this case.  I think its just a matter of time until this death is properly investigated.  According to Alternet:

• Indications of physical abuse that went unremarked by the autopsy.  LaVena appears to have been punched in the mouth before being killed, she had two loose teeth, and a busted lip that had to be repaired at the funeral home.
• The absence of psychological indicators of suicidal thoughts; indeed, testimony that LaVena was happy and healthy prior to her death
• Indications, via residue tests, that LaVena may not even have handled the weapon that killed her
• A blood trail outside the tent where Lavena's body was found
• Indications that someone attempted to set LaVena's body on fire
